1. How long is each session?

Inicial consultation: 15 minutes.

Individual psychotherapy: 50 minutes.

Couple Counselling: 60 minutes.

  1. How long will I have to wait for an appointment? 

My availability usually allows me to schedule clients for an appointment in the week after they first reach out.

  1.  Are sessions online or in person?

I offer online and in-person sessions.

  1. What about confidentiality?

Our sessions are confidential unless I am concerned about safety or if I am required by law to make a disclosure (such as subpoenaed by the court). I am legally required to report concerns when I believe someone is at serious and immediate risk of harm. We will discuss this more at our first meeting. In these cases, whenever possible, I will involve the client in this process.

  1. Are your services covered by extended health care plans?

Yes, my services are often covered by extended healthcare plans. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to verify your specific coverage details. Please note that clients are responsible for payment of services rendered.

  1. Are your services covered by OHIP?

No, my psychotherapy services are not covered by OHIP.

  1. How do I pay for my session?

Fees are paid to me directly at the end of each session by credit or e-transfer.
